Collis and Brooker Replacement Invoice re Further Research on Grandfather and US Cousins

I have tried to contact you regarding the best way forward on your assignments.

This is a summary of what we understand were your requirements and for what we have done already.

Invoice 1 (Fully Paid)

This was to research the Collis line back to the 1700s and the Brooker line as far back as possible. This has been paid in full.

Invoice 2 (Half paid)

This was to tell the whole story of Collis and Brooker with extra certificates including 6 hours for the additional work and 30 certificates. It also included locating American relatives without charge. You didn't want all certificates so we have reduced this from 30 to 15 and reduced the extra research from 6 hours to 3. This left a balance of £472.47 that was to be repaid on 1 December and credited against additional work for your preferred options. As this has not been paid, we are instead providing an invoice for the additional work. It is important to note that this additional work has already been done as agreed and we have the necessary records back and research completed.

Invoice 3 (This invoice)

We are now providing 4 digital chronicles instead of two. You have paid for the Collis and Brooker trees but there is enough information for separate ones for your American Collis relatives and the other for your grandfather's siblings as requested. You will therefore be able to obtain 4 hardback book chronicles in the future, should you wish.

The amount outstanding on the unpaid invoice was for half the balance calculated as follows:-

15 certificates not required. -£374.97

Half of the time for this extra work of 3 hours not required). -£97.50

US Relatives £0

=£472.47

This new invoice is about the same, at £477, after a 40% discount. A credit for this amount will be made against your 2nd invoice once you have paid this one.

The new invoice gets you the following:-

• Research Fee re Grandfather's siblings and finding living relatives (US living relatives already paid for in original Collis tree).
• Digital chronicle re Grandfather's siblings and same re US Cousins.
• Digital chronicle  re US Cousins.

Should you still require them, a further invoice will be provided in January for canvas trees at £280 for two (one for Collis and one for Brooker). The Collis tree will have all Collis relatives on including those found under further research for your grandfather's relatives and US cousins. We would also be able to produce hardback books at that time if required.

If you are happy with this, please accept this quote and an invoice will be sent to you for payment.
