Thank you for asking us to research Josiah and his family.

Further to our correspondence, our objectives are outlined below:-

Main Research

• Search for Josiah’s baptismal record. (We have good reason to identify one such record, confirmed by other familial connections. This has taken longer than any other objective).
• Search for Josiah’s parents’ marriage record. (This is the most difficult objective. If not found, the other findings are not affected. Parents' names are shown on other records).
• Search for Josiah’s parents’ baptisms. (Not easy because of clandestine activity but found subject to confirmation).
• Obtain as many baptismal records for Josiah’s siblings as possible. (There are several more than in your case notes).

8.5 hours including cost of documents where applicable.

Report and Further Research

• Digital chronicle including maps, geography, important locations and any photos you have of Fowlis Wester & Fornought farm if you would like these included.
• Profiles of direct ancestors with events in chronological order along with copy records and photos of churches and villages/hamlets.
• Full sources.
• Tree showing relationships, limited to the relevant generations(s).
• McGregor connection where found.
• Family of Josiah Drummond and Emilia Crearar.
• Family of John Drummond and Isabella McDuff.

Note. Not including sibling marriages and deaths which would take about another 4 hours if required but includes research on the families of Josiah and John.

Total =13 hours at £32.50 each= £422.50
