Thank you for your emails declining the quotation we sent you.

I am sorry that we haven’t been able to tempt you with the extremely special package we put together. We felt that this was a very fair offer in comparison with last time as the Platinum tree goes back much further when records are more scarce making it much more difficult. The other elements of the quote are a guarantee to get  hardback book delivered to you before your mum’s birthday as well as certificates at a lower cost than last time. The hardback book was slightly higher as the printers have increased their costs and the amount we have charged for that does not cover the extra work involved at this end after those costs.

I have revised the quote to reduce it back to the Golden Tree and reduce the hardback cost. We will try and take the tree back a few more generations to get as near to the Platinum Tree for no extra cost. That means you are getting a better product for a similar amount to the Steventon case. Remember that the additional certificates last time allowed us to have more insight into the family and we discovered the pottery connections and so on.

The revised figure shown includes the £297.50 due and cancellation of the first invoice. Whereas before, it would have been an extra £440, it is now £299 which I hope is more acceptable to you.
