Further to our email, please find additional work required to enhance and complete the two assignments.

Kendall

We need 13 certificates for various families connected to Annie and including her records.

Additional Research Time Required:-

•    Map mother’s censuses back in time
•    Map putative father’s censuses back in time
•    Extend two families back to early 1800s
•    Locate birth certificate of putative father
•    Locate mother’s birth certificate
•    Locate mother’s marriage certificate
•    Obtain Annie’s birth certificate
•    Locate certificates for Annie’s siblings
•    Locate details about Thomas Kendall’s mother including her birth and marriage certificates
•    Obtain the death certificate for Annie’s mother
•    Report on any connections between Annie’s mother and Thomas Kendall
•    Investigate Annie’s middle (not Elizabeth)
•    Report on why Annie provided inconsistent information

McCallum

We need 6 certificates for various families connected to John McCallum including his records.

Additional Research Time Required:-

•    Establish as well as possible if Charles, his son and/or Mary die between 1858 and 1861 or returned to Ireland then Canada.
•    Did Ellen’s first husband die or remarry? Ascertain if Ellen was a bigamist when she married John McCallum as a ‘spinster.’
•    Continue search for Daniel.
•    Locate John’s likely parent.
•    Locate other baptisms at the church and to see if John’s likely mother subsequently used the church for a marriage or was buried there.
•    Search Durham Archives, National Archives, County Durham Poor Law records and Paternity Decrees.
•    Ensure all other candidates are excluded.
