Main-Finalise Phase 1

Please find invoice as agreed to finalise Phase 1 for additional research for the initial objectives to confirm the family of JSB including the following:-

1. Locate parents, wife and children of John Main of Ballochney, Standard Bearer (“JSB”).
2. Confirm the family of John Main the Younger of Ballochney as a starting point.
3. Deal with potential discrepancies concerning JSB's age, marriage and whether or not he had children.
4. Provide details of JSB’s method of execution and burial including his final words before he was executed.
5. Use the Sasines and deeds to assist in confirming relationships and geography (integral to the research).
6. Obtain more parish records for JSB’s family, his siblings and John Main the Younger. These all help to confirm the tree’s integrity and should provide geographical indicators.
7. Obtain Covenanter records for JSB to fill in the story and hopefully to provide more geographical indicators.
8. Obtain will appearing to relate to JSB’s father.
9. Locate details of archive material from the first half of the 17th century with connections to known Main locations to support findings re JSB’s family.
10. Provide connections between Ballochney, then in “Monkland,” and other disparate locations, with explanations.
11. Provide names of fellow Covenanter in-laws without fully researching them or confirming their relationships at this stage.
12. Take main points from wills and deeds if time permits, without full transcription.
13. Explore connections to lowland cities.
14. Incorporate findings into digital chronicle.

The costs would be as follows, maintaining the reduction in our hourly rate:-

Phase 1 requires 13 of the 26 hours= 13 x £25.50 = £331.50

It also requires 16 OPCs and 1 will = 16 x £1.50 (£24) plus £4= £28

Total for Phase 1 = £359.50

This is an invoice so there is no need to accept a quote. Payment can therefore be made from this invoice.
