Hello Marie

Oldroyd and Moorhouse Tree Trimmings and Integrity

I am pleased to advise that we have made considerable progress with David's family tree and have proved both lines as we suspected.

Please also provide any further information you might want including on the tree for David and his parents' generations, if any. This is to avoid having to buy certificates for them as that is the only way to get precise dates and locations, etc.

You were entitled under the family tree you have purchased to 11 civil records (birth, marriage and death). We use these to ensure the connection between each generation and to solve mysteries that need to be proven. We have calculated that there are as many as and additional 30 more such records for David’s direct ancestors including a few for a particular mystery outlined below. These are intended to add colour to the tree going back centuries whilst also ensuring the integrity of the genealogical heirloom as much as possible, connecting each individual to the one before or to their spouses. When there are many individuals of the same name in a local area, it also requires careful research to find the right records.

James Rowbottom

We also have a proposal to make on the Rowbottom side purely on the basis that the history of James born 1850 is curious and you might wish to explore it further.

It appears that James was a son of Isaac and Charlotte Inman but he disappears from Isaac’s family unit after he is born. We believe we have found him as well as both of Isaac’s marriages. When James gets married he gives his father’s name as farmer George. We have a theory for this and would like the evidence that certificates can give to explore that further and possibly even to prove it.

There is, of course, no obligation to obtain these records but whilst we are on this case we can do them much more economically than any fresh research project would cost.

Each record would normally be £29 but I have discounted these as shown below by including our Heirloom pack of 30 certificates. It may be that we need one or two more in which case we will provide these free of charge. I have also added a discount as shown of 7.5% and provided 6 research hours free for the Rowbottom case and to locate all the records as you already have an ongoing case.

Delivery time would tie in with the main case which was spread over two months. The initial half payment would be £348.73 with the balance due after 30/35 days.

Thank you for your valued custom and for instructing us to deal with this fascinating case.

I hope this is acceptable but please let me know either way.

Best wishes

Amy
