Who was Clarence Ivimy?

Further to our conversation we are pleased to advise you that we will be able to provide the following information about Clarence (also spelt "Clarance" in the records):-

1. His parentage.
2. His early life including school and institution records.
3. Whether or not his parents were married.
4. What his grandfather did.
5. His mother's employment at a great hotel near Buckingham Palace.
6. Where Clarence lived and who he was with in the 1930's and 40's.
7. The net estate after he died and the name of the beneficiary (who was not his wife).
8. Your original birth certificate if you require it (this was later changed and would be a requirement for Clarence's military records, see below).
9. Other findings will be discovered from his birth, marriage and death records including addresses, occupations and relationships.
10. When and where he was buried or cremated if this is required.
11. Plus anything else discovered through research.

As far as military records are concerned, unfortunately World War 2 records are only sparsely indexed so it is necessary to apply to the Ministry of Defence for full records, if they even exist. In order to do this we will need Clarence's full details plus certificates to prove your relationship. This will be done after delivery of this case in five weeks and then the results of the military enquiry will take between 2 and 6 months to arrive which is why we would provoide you with the results of this assignment first.
