Gash Golden Tree Upgrade

As advised, we have made good progress with Victor’s tree. We would like, though, to suggest something even more special for the big occasion.

You have currently opted for the Silver Tree which goes back to the early/mid 1800s. You have the following included:-

• Full-coloured digital chronicle to hand down the generations.
• Profile summary and history of each direct surname ancestor with their own records in chronological order.
• Geography of Victor’s ancestors.
• 3 Essential birth records after September 1837 purchased by us.
• Occupations throughout their lives.
• Original census images.
• Digital Tree showing all relatives and how they are related.
• Research conclusions explained fully and concisely.
• Sources meticulously listed for each record.

We would instead suggest an upgrade to a Golden Tree with ‘Bells and Whistles’ in hardback book as well as a full digital version. The Golden Tree normally gets you back to the late 1700s but we can get Victor’s lineage back to the 1730s including the family’s origins before they moved to Kent. This would include parish church records with signatures going back in time. We can send you sample images of our hardback books if required.

We would also be able to add details of military involvement in World War 1 of Victor’s grand uncles Victor, Richard and Alfred. We would also be able to produce a photo of Alfred in his military uniform.

The Bells and Whistles approach costs us a lot more in time to research each event and to prepare for a hardback book. They provide the following extras:-

• History and photographs of key locations and map of journey through time.
• Newspaper articles and stories.
• 3 additional hours ofn the Kirby line.
• 5 Civil records which we purchase on your behalf.
• Surname meaning and origins including reference to earliest known Gash ancestors.
• Potted histories for each individual together with a timeline and images showing the historical background that formed their life’s tapestry.
• Professionally laid out with bespoke artwork as appropriate.
• Original censuses plus transcribed schedules.
• Family crest research where applicable.
• Photo of Victor (includes an extensive news article).
• Birthday celebration motifs.
• County flags, geographical locations and maps.
• Military and other matters of special interest.
• Signatures or marks of some ancestors.
• Burial locations of some ancestors.
• Outline of all generations related to Victor's father, including siblings and spouses and additional records for female direct ancestors.
• The historical context of royalty, coinage, clothing and key events shown with each lifespan of Victor’s direct ancestors.
• Separate digital Tree in PDF format showing all relatives and how they are related to Victor.

The quote includes 50% off for the hardback book and the additional artwork and formatting required. We have also reduced the addition of ‘Bells and Whistles’ by 50% and given 10% off the Golden Tree to help. The additional amount comes to £255 above the original amount of £345 for a much better product. I appreciate that this is expensive but it is a once in a lifetime gift… It would leave a balance of £427.50 after credit for the amount of £172.50 you have already paid. This could be paid by two instalments of £213.75 (one soon and the other prior to completion) with the first invoice marked as paid in full.

This is completely optional and we'll take care to handle Victor’s heritage as sensitively as possible. The suggested upgrade enhances the story of his ancestors’ lives so much more and ensures that he can put himself in their positions to see what they saw in terms of homes, churches and additional documents.
