Hi Susan

The McIvers of Ireland

Thank you for requiring a formal quote with the following objectives proposed by email:-

1. Who was William McIver’s mother? This is probably the toughest question. We have candidates and the following research should indicate the correct person. William’s father may have married twice. The problem is proving our findings as William never states which county of Ireland he was born in and is not present on at least two censuses. We have various methods to locate such proof but this is not guaranteed.

2. Why was William living in Stafford? This is straightforward and we have found connections between this county and other likely relations of William.

3. Why did William and Lydia travel to Foxford in County Mayo and stay there long enough to have a daughter and then leave for Liverpool? I note that you have the evidence of William and Lydia’s daughter being born over there. We have several more connections and can indicate exactly what William was doing there. It may be that a John McIver assisted him in some way.

4. We can also demonstrate what else Lydia was doing in Ireland before her child was born.

5. Obtain parish record image of one possible baptism for William in Ireland and compare merits with others.

6. Identify John McIver MD. Locate place of work and various events. Locate birth record of a son. Locate his death record.

7. Identify an alternative John McIver MD.

8. Obtain index reference for death of a John McIver of Foxford.

9. Locate the burial place of John McIver MD and his family.

10. Unearth more Liverpool connections.

11. Provide information on the McIvers of Foxford and other key location(s).

12.    Other elements as they emerge in research.

Total payable =£396 in full or by two instalments of £198 each. Balance payment within 30 days or 14 days if report required earlier.

Not Applicable:-

Digital birth certificates for all of the children of William and Lydia at £10 each including search and handling fees and the amount we pay to third parties. The same applies to their death records.

The Irish records are all included in our quote except for the John McIver death certificate which will need to be ordered direct
for £15 but we can give you the link to obtain this when you judge its merits.

If you would like to accept the quote just click the green button at the top and an invoice will be sent to you to make payment by Paypal for which you do not need an existing account.
I hope this is acceptable and that we can tell you more about the impressive McIvers.

Thanks and best wishes, Amy
