Hi Sue
McNally Records
Please find a revised quote further to your email. It was our fault as we chose the wrong 1880 birth I'm afraid but I hope that the following now resolves that. There is a little extra work involved but we can keep the cost at the same as already quoted.
1. Try to get further back than the James McNally born circa 1780.
No death certificate or burial record found for James or wife Jane. No entries on census either so only an estimated year of birth is available. We will provide the most likely birth details in the circumstances. One son is likely to have been James McNally baptised in 1812 at St Mary Magdalene, Woolwich, Greenwich, Kent to James and Jane.
Cost £75.
2. Did Bertha Clarrisa Larsen who married Alfred Thomas McNally (1878-1950) have a child Dorothy who died at 5 months? Resolve the conflicting information especially around Bertha's birth if possible and determine the details of Dorothy.
Please advise if you have any certificates for Dorothy. It doesn't matter if not.
Cost £35 instead of £65 quoted.
3. Did the 2 children of Roy McNally (1926-2010) and Jean Bennett married in Fulham in 1951 have any grandchildren and did James McNally (b. 1939) who married Pauline S Spreadborough (b. 1938) in Shepway 1977 have any children?
Establish whether son Robert T McNally who married Marguerite Christie in 1978 and/or his sibling have any children.
Obtain birth certificate of sibling and search for their marriage or death records. Seek to obtain last known addresses of Roy's sibling and connected person(s) and children.
Search for children of James McNally and Pauline S Spreadborough inside or outside their marriage.
Cost £55 instead of £85 quoted.
4. Guernsey Parish Record for Thomas Thompson McNally 1816-1894 (born Guernsey, died Camberwell) who married Anne Bender on 2 June 1839 at St Mary's, Newington.
(Additional Objective).
Try to obtain Guernsey parish baptismal record for Thomas. Records are not indexed so time is required to search and obtain if possible. Translation from French transcriptions not required. Bear in mind that a baptismal location is not the same as a birth location so success depends on Thomas having been baptised near the place of his birth.
Cost £55
5. Check integrity of tree for relevant generations shown.
(Additional Objective).
Cost £30
Objective for Guernsey to remain in accordance with your email as well as checking the integrity of the tree.
Total = £250 payable in two instalments of £125 each if required.
If you are happy with the quote please accept it by using the button at the top of the form and an invoice will be sent.
If you have any queries, please let me know.
Best wishes, Amy
