The Whole Stories of the Embreys and Biddlecombes

I am pleased to tell you that we have been able to locate records taking your lines back centuries.

Whilst we are on the case, we would like to suggest how to make you results even more special. This is completely optional and you may choose one or more options or none at all.

We have been able to trace your relatives by means of censuses, civil birth, marriage and death indexes and transcribed indexes for parish church baptisms, marriages and burials. Civil and parish records tell you so much more than the relevant index. Unfortunately, without us having to buy more certificates, that is all the information there is: a name, index number and date of birth, baptism, marriage, death or burial. With the actual record we can provide photographs of churches, residences, maps and search for newspaper articles as there is much more information to go on. Instead of parish record entries we can also show you the actual baptism records, often on parchment, plus marriages (some with signatures of your direct ancestors) and burial records. Each record is an historical document, fascinating to see at first hand but each one requires additional work to locate, find the entries on each page, snip the relevant entries, transcribe them, enhance and incorporate them into your chronicles.

We normally reserve the certificate allocation for significant records to advance the case. For instance, the mother of one of your ancestors requires proof to confirm her maternity. Another Biddlecombe ancestor appears to have married three or four times and we need to confirm which of two fathers was the father of one of your 19th century direct Biddlecombe ancestors.

We recommend an extra 20 civil records for the Victorian ancestors and at least 30 parish records going back further. Your plans already include 10 and there are probably significantly more than 30 parish records which we can add for free whilst we are getting the paid for ones. We have discounted the civil records by 25% and parish records by 40% to keep the costs down.

Rest assured that even if you don’t require the Whole Story upgrade we will still be able to provide the details we need but the “Wow! Factor” will be reduced. It’s expensive, granted, and much more work for us to do, but the results are priceless!

Payment can be made over two instalments if you wish, at £390.15 each each.
