Hello Sue
I am pleased to provide you with a quote and payment method as requested.
The lead you mentioned regarding Joseph Bolton and fanny Leeming in Walton le Dale, Blackburn Diocese is compelling. It was a common practice to hand down through a few generations a maternal name as a child's middle name. I have found the parish marriage record but it doesn't yield much information apart from two witness names and the fact that they couldn't write. I have a burial at the same church for a Joseph Bolton which might indicate that he was relatively old when they married which might explain their apparent absence from the 1841 census and there appear to be no children.
As discussed, our project would require the following in order to know the relevant families seek connections and enquire as to why Catherine used the Bolton name rather then her birth name at Valentia's birth and to see what else is recorded about Francis:-
We would be undertaking 10 hours research but just charge for 9= £292.50.
Normally certificates are over £20 each including research and handling charges but we would include 4 marriage records for £11 each at cost to keep the price down (those highlighted above). The other certificates listed above we will include for free including those not available online.
Price including certificates = £336.50 or two instalments of £168.25.
If you want to proceed please accept the quote and an invoice will be emailed to you.
Thanks again,
Amy
