Marilyn had been a client for years.

Covid meant that she was unable to visit England so, for free, we visited the old ancestral Barrow locations for her and found properties, roads, lanes, fells and a literal brick wall that were especially dear to the family.

The same places were linked to manuscripts showing ancestral signatures and place names: precious trails always available for relations and descendants to follow forever more.

And we enjoyed some delicious famous Cartmel sticky toffee pudding too!
